My Prayer For ALL CHRISTIANS !!!!

This Prayer that Paul for these struggling new Christians of Ephesus is such an appropriate for us Today. It specific and focused prayer with a ultimate objective to my “Prayer Line Family I extend this PRAYER To YOU !!! Receive it in JESUS NAME , AMEN !!!!!!  ( Ephesians Chapter 1 verses 15-19 New Living Translation)

Paul's Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

15 Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for Christians everywhere, 16 I have never stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future he has promised to those he called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance he has given to his people. [fn3]

19 I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of his power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms.

Commentary by A. R. FAUSSET

 17. A fit prayer for all Christians. 
      the God of our Lord Jesus--appropriate title here; as inEph 1:20-22 he treats of God's raising Jesus to be Head over all things to the Church. Jesus Himself called the Father "My God" ( Mat 27:46 ). 
      the Father of glory--(Compare Act 7:2 ). The Father of that infinite glory which shines in the face of Christ, who is "the glory" (the true Shekinah); through whom also "the glory of the inheritance" (Eph 1:18 ) shall be ours ( Jhn 17:24 2Cr 3:7 - 4:6 ). 
      the spirit of wisdom--whose attribute is infinite wisdom and who works wisdom in believers ( Isa 11:2 ). 
      and revelation--whose function it is to reveal to believers spiritual mysteries ( Jhn 16:14, 15 1Cr 2:10 ). 
      in the knowledge--rather, as Greek (see on JF & B for 1Co 13:12), "in the full knowledge of Him," namely, God.
      18. understanding--The oldest manuscripts, versions, and Fathers, read "heart." Compare the contrary state of unbelieving, theheart being in fault ( Eph 4:18 Mat 13:15 ). Translate, "Having the eyes of your heart enlightened" ( Eph 5:14 Mat 4:16 ). The first effect of the Spirit moving in the new creation, as in the original physical creation ( Gen 1:3 2Cr 4:6 ). So THEOPHILUS to AUTOLYCUS (1.3), "the ears of the heart." Where spiritual light is, there is life (Jhn 1:4 ). The heart is "the core of life" [HARLESS], and the fountain of the thoughts; whence "the heart" in Scripture includes the mind, as well as the inclination. Its "eye," or inward vision, both receives and contemplates the light ( Mat 6:22, 23 ). The eye is the symbol of intelligence ( Eze 1:18 ). 
      the hope of his calling--the hope appertaining to His having called you; or, to the calling wherewith He has called you. 
      and--omitted in the oldest manuscripts and versions. 
      riches of the glory-- ( Col 1:27 ). 
      his inheritance in the saints--The inheritance which he has in store in the case of the saints. I prefer explaining, "The inheritance which He has in his saints." (See on JF & B for Eph 1:11; Deu 32:9 ).
      19. exceeding--"surpassing." 
      power to us-ward who believe--The whole of the working of His grace, which He is carrying on, and will carry on, in us who believe. By the term "saints" ( Eph 1:18 ), believers are regarded as absolutely perfected, and so as being God's inheritance; in this verse, as in the course of fighting the good fight of faith. 
      according to--in accordance wit,h, what might be expected from. 
      working--Greek, "the energizing"; translate, "the effectual working" ( Eph 3:7 ). The same superhuman power was needed and exerted to make us believe, as was needed and exerted to raise Christ from the dead ( Eph 1:20 ). Compare Phl 3:10 , "the power of His resurrection" ( Col 2:12 1Pe 1:3-5 ). 
      of his mighty power--Greek, "of the strength of His might."

I Believe Therefore I AM !!!!! (The Giant Within)

We need

to realize that our beliefs have the capacity to make us sick or make us healthy in a moment. Beliefs

have been documented to affect our immune systems. And most importantly, beliefs can either give us

the resolve to take action, or weaken and destroy our drive. In this moment beliefs are shaping how

you respond to what you've just read and what you're going to do with what you're learning in this

book. Sometimes we develop beliefs that create limitations or strengths within a very specific context;

for instance, how we feel about our ability to sing or dance, fix a car, or do calculus. Other beliefs are

so generalized that they dominate virtually every aspect of our lives, either negatively or positively. I

call these global beliefs. Global beliefs are the giant beliefs we have about everything in our lives:

beliefs about our identities, people, work, time, money, and life itself, for that matter. These giant

generalizations are often phrased as is/am/are: "Life is . . ." "I am . . ." "People are ..." As you can

imagine,  beliefs of this size and scope can shape and color every aspect of our lives. The good news

about this is that making one change in a limiting global belief you currently hold can change virtually

every aspect of your life in a moment! Remember: Once accepted, our beliefs become unquestioned

commands to our nervous systems, and they have the power to expand or destroy the possibilities of

our present and future.  

If we want to direct our lives, then, we must take conscious control over our beliefs. And in order to do

that, we first need to understand what they really are and how they are formed.

WE HAVE THE VICTORY IN JESUS CHRIST !!!!

JOSHUA CHAPTER 1

BE DECISIVE (v 2-6)
(v2) 
- You cannot live in the past - God has given you an assignment; make a decision based on where you’re going, not where you’ve been - Make a decision based on where God is taking you
(v3-4)
- You’ve got to know that God’s promises are sure - God’s promises are based on His Will, not your personality
(v5-6) 
- God not only promises provision, but he promises protection - His promise is activated by your faith in Him

BE DISCIPLINED (v 7-13)
(v7-8) 
- Victory on the battlefield requires complete obedience - Any deviation can bring forfeiture of the prize - God is not a “God of compromise” 
(v9) “Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous…” ([He says it 3 times [v 6, 7, &9]) 

(v10-13)
- Notice the specifics of the instructions… - Prepare your provisions, for within three days you shall pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess. (v11)

BE DETERMINED (v 14-17)
(14-16) - Don’t allow the details to derail you from reaching the prize that God has for you - Determination will lead to domination - Make a visible as well as verbal commitment to follow through with God’s instruction (lip service won’t work anymore…) 
(v17)
- Because of their Decision, Discipline, and Determination, they were able to experience victory in their battle - Because they didn’t get caught up in the leadership change and followed through with the instructions of God… - When you put your trust in the plan and not in the person, you will have victory 
(v18)
- Not only were they determined to follow God’s plan to the letter, but they also made up in their minds not the let haters stop them! - (I’m through…) If you’re going to win the battle, you’ve got to learn to eliminate the haters in your life… (Not w/ weapons, but w/ your praise…! (2 Cor 10:4) “for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture”
